Silverghost8 октября 2021Yet another book from the 'used books' shelf in a local shop nearby. Another attempt to grasp 'live' modern British English, via not that complicated texts. Nonetheless enjoyed lots of tenses, inversions and set phrases.
A plot is somewhat soggy over the first half of the book. Final chapters are really absorbing, except the disappointing last one. Still it was quite interesting to follow a modern version of inspector Lestrade.
