  So I just have finished a short fiction by Brandon Sanderson "The Emperor's Soul". I choose this book 'cause it's not so long and I had a little time to read it.

  The Emperor's Soul is included in Elantris series but there's no references to that world, only a couple names of nations. So everybody can read it without any doubt.

  The plot of the book is not ordinary but not dynamic at all. Although it forces your imagination! I think this is a distinctive feature of the author.

  Through the book you try to understand some magical process Forgery. You can change the history, the fashion, the soul of each subject even a soul of a man! Sounds crazy and absolutely unclear!

  Maybe if I read this book in Russian I decide it's a little monotonous but I've read it in English, so there's no time to be bored.

  Also I like the postscript where Sanderson tells how he came up with this book. Only a visit the museum in Taiwan and some research was nudge him to create this exceptional story!
