  I wouldn't consider myself a fan of contemporary relationship novels, but this one I loved

  They meet cute, and begin spouting off impossibly clever lines: all those sharp, witty retorts that you and I only think of twenty minutes after the fact. I hated them instantly. But... they grew on me, and by the time I hit the last page, I knew I was going to miss them. I sometimes loved, and sometimes hated all the characters in this book. Cleo suffers from depression, and feels neglected. Frank drinks way too much, and may actually be falling for one of his employees. (Funny and refreshing, Eleanor, a down- to-earth gal far removed from Frank's more upscale world. I fell for her, too. Hard️) This book caught me by surprise. I wouldn't consider myself a fan of contemporary relationship novels, but this one I loved.A fine four-star read, bumped to five due to my crush on Eleanor
