  i thought the end would be different!
  i was too optimistic about it. I thought Magsie would marry Stephen. or at least Philip :D
  but death. the death of both children. though they were not children already..
  anyway the ending isn't that tragic as it seems at first sight.
  i'd say that it's .. eeerm.. conciliative?. even under such circumstances.
  they're together. again. and for ever.
  as they'd always wanted.

  i like the way the author conveyed Maggie's feelings. their struggle.
  there's no doubt the girl had a life more difficult than her brother's. because i think that an inner conflict is very hard to overcome. emotionally. and psychologically. and not to go off your head.
