Zebra

The police code for the cases was Zebra. The implication of black and white was a bitter irony. The victims - raped, mutilated or dead - were all white. The killers were all black - muslim fanatics of the Death Angel cult. Their reign of terror stretched through 179 days of a San Francisco winter. At the end there were twenty-three victims.
