Carl's Doomsday Scenario

A great continuation of Carl and Donut's adventures!

It's a bit slower than the first book, but we get a new floor with fresh mobs, new game mechanics, and an ending of truly epic proportions.

There’s less snarky humor, which is a bit of a downside for me, but I get that if it stayed the same throughout the whole series, it might start to feel repetitive. This side of the books has to evolve, too.

I love the author's inventiveness, and now I’m invested not just in the story itself but in seeing what else he can come up with.
