Начался сентябрь - золотые дни, серебряные ночи.

Но пусть не клянется выстоять во тьме тот, кто еще никогда не видел ночи.

А то когда народу много, любой разговор в спор превращается, и конца этому не видно.

Цмокава шаленства і апісаць немагчыма. Так шалее толькі багаты народ, які мае значна больш багацця, чым задавальнення з яго, і раптам губляе нешта, чым ніколі не карыстаўся, што ніколі не патрабавалася, але чым валодаў доўгі час.

'They come from Mordor,' said Strider in a low voice. 'From Mordor, Barliman, if that means anythihg to you'
'Save us!' cried Mr. Butterbur turnung pale; the name evidently was known to him. 'That is the worst news that has come to Bree in my time.'
'It is,' said Frodo. 'Are you still willing to help me?'
'I am.' said Mr. Butterbur. 'More than ever.'

"I wish it need not have happened in my time", said Frodo.
"So do I", said Gandalf, "and so do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us".

Мудрость заключается в том, чтобы распознать необходимое, когда все прочие средства отпали, сколь безумно ни выглядело бы оно в глазах тех, кто тешится ложными надеждами.

Don't adventures ever have an end? I suppose not. Someone else always has to carry on the story.
