  What do you know about how orphans live in foster families? It happens that with the family the child is lucky and loved, and it happens, as with Mallory, who got into the family, where children were beaten. And what can a 9-year-old girl do against a huge drunken aggressive peasant? Nothing. Nothing, just like the boy who defended, took a beating on himself.
  They were separated under terrible circumstances. And these two already did not expect to meet again, but fate decided otherwise. Mallory accidentally met Rider in school and realized that she was missing - her former feelings flared up with even greater force. Moreover, these feelings are mutual.
  Quite a good book. Very unusual subjects for Armentrout. An interesting story that delays. A bit naive, but overall I liked it.
  Be careful, the book contains scenes of cruelty, as well as the use of drugs.
