  Not a fan of this Jo Nesbo. So different from his Harry Pole books. Even though "Midnight Sun" is a second in a series, it can be a stand alone book. The only character connecting this book and "Blood on Snow" is a drug lord called Fisherman and he barely makes an appearance. The main character of this book, Ulf was almost a twin brother of Olav (main character from "Blood on Snow"). Just like Olav, Ulf is a "fixer" who is not capable of killing someone, who pisses off his boss, the biggest drug lord in Norway and has to go into hiding. It felt like I was reading the same book again.
  I did, however, like the setting of "Midnight Sun" - in the most northern part of Norway where the sun doesn't go down for months at time. But that's the only thing I liked here. The story itself was already familiar since there are so many similarities with the first book, then all of the sudden, the narrative took a very preachy turn (I could have survived without reading the whole sermons).
