  How do you grow summer squash?

  A deep dive into the shattered mind of a woman (Maud) suffering from dementia. A fragmented narrative where one association flows into a memory gradually helping to piece together the puzzle of her distant youth.

  Hard to read when you mostly relate to Helen, Maud’s daughter; her frustration and irritation are palpable as the story goes, though the main character evokes sympathy in that obsessive and persistent search for answers.
