  An impressive journey into old Russian book

  For a start, I recently read "Dead Souls" by Nikolai Gogol. It's a really famous Russian book. The main idea is quite strange, about a man travelling to buy names of dead people. The characters he meets are amazing people, full of strange habits and details. His writing style is impressive, making you feel like you are there. Plus, it shows a life in old Russia. Another advantage is that it's a great example of powerful satire. The only disadvantage is that the story can feel a bit slow sometimes. Annoyingly, the ending wasn't very clear. Overall, I really enjoyed this classic novel.
