This book disappointed me. I was expecting something absolutely heart-wrenching from the start, since from the very first page you know that the girl took her own life and you're supposed to find out what broke her. As the book neared towards its end, I started to get worried. Only 100 pages left, why don't I feel sorry for her, why don't those reasons seem like enough to give up, why don't they seem like good enough reasons at all? 80 pages... okay, maybe next one, it has to be next one. 50 pages... what the heck happened? There had to be something MAJOR, I mean, come on, she killed herself because of it.... Nope, rest assured, my review had more suspense than the book just now. I finished the book thinking: so what exactly were the reasons? A depressed teenager who chose to give up instead of fighting. I understand, everyone's breaking point is different, not everyone is strong, what's enough for one won't even bother another one... but she didn't even try...
