Despite the fact that the size of this story is small, it is very exciting. Each character has his own vision. For a mother, a daughter is perfect and pure. However, at the end of the story, we find out that this is not the case. The robber, in turn, boasts that he defeated the samurai and reproaches the police. At the beginning of the story, he does not cause positive emotions, but at the end the reader unwittingly takes his side. The finale shows that there was only one pure-hearted person in history. It was cruel and not trivial. I liked.

I would never read a Japanese story translated into English when a Russian variant is easily available :)
