  I read this book because the first one (which i read for English practice) was moderately good, with simple grammar and vocabulary. I expected that the second one would also have an interesting plot, but my expectations were not met. The book is very boring, the heroine’s experiences do not evoke sympathy, the senseless flickering back and forth and gathering an army makes you yawn, and the appearance of the seer is like a piano in the bushes. I finished reading out of pure stubbornness. I will not read further either this series of books or this author.
