  The book evoked some nostalgia for my youth when there were many movies on political themes shown on TV. They were all quite similar: the plot twists were predictable, as were the villains. This work is just like those: the killer stands out immediately from the first pages of his appearance in the text, the ending is not surprising and does not cause any emotions at all.
  Summing up, it was definitely not my cup of tea.

  This is one of those rare cases when I'd recommend watching the movie right away instead of reading the book. The adaptation fully captures the mood of the plot, talented actors transform a mediocre story into a very worthy product.
