  What are those virtues? First, King is a well-trusted guide to the underworld. His readers will follow him through any door marked “Danger: Keep Out”or, in more literary terms, “Abandon All Hope Ye Who Enter Here”
  Doctor Sleep may not be King's scariest book, but I still found it plenty scary. I needed a fright break reading this one, where I had to set the book down to ease (or maybe extend) the tension and catch my breath. Pet Sematary and Under the Dome also required fright breaks. I also had a problem with the page count, only I would have preferred another hundred pages or two paint this epic psychic showdown. Still, highly recommended!
