...stupendous horrific impeccable embodiment of The Dark as perceived by civilised human mind in its constant striving to categorize conquer run away fantastically cured me from fear anxiety sense of measures so glad we're going to have that here in Russia though I know you know most Russians do that dark passages twisted turns roaring in the dark may occur wherever whenever to whoever is ready not ready just interested; the text literally changes the way of reality perception though thanks God doesn't reveal its gist as whooa there is a new Gospel coming down no no nothing is coming down you are coming down the stairs that widens shrinks elongates into the chasm depth abyss well indeed we possess immeasurable dark immaculate crucifixion inconceivable nakedness and it possesses us as we all are echoes of Narcissus; I question despise am puzzled with the FEAR of Western mind of these abysses like well well well don't slip and FALL my child here we fall we surely do fall thank you mr Danielewski; by the way there could be a great screen adaptation of this novel (surely not Hollywood like Houston Houston we have a problem he's eaten by some shit we're coming back Houston we're com... some Lynch or Kubrick descendant could try and do though who cares) the novel is about a movie in the end movie which existence is constantly put under question but it's XXI cent. anyway and we finally realize that imaginary things are of equal importance to real I mean if you are capable of imagining something than it does exist I mean what all these psychowizards were sweating for? your reality perception fears madness all reside in your head while social commitment decent upbringing egoistic welbeing convince we have rules borders firm grounds though awww we don't what a shame; excarnation supplantation eviction - just read House of Leaves.

p.s. The book despite of a rather articulately present postmodernistic hint doesn't pretend to be the horror like above it's a horse of another horror thanks to Mother Teresa! This novel is neat, decent and plesant to read beyond any belief satisfying not only your weird curiosity but even your inner dancing philosopher, art-critic and myth-lover.
So don't worry, my little reader, H.of.L is a postmodernistic-in-a-good-way masterpiece I mean not only in the form but mostly in the sense. Well I tried too but my finals are approaching I am madly *** and it's 3.44 am. I'm sorry.

p.p.s. And the best part of the book comes undoubtedly when the names of several hundreds scholars who allegedly studied the matter of the matter of dark virtually begin to flow inundate eat out reader's mind with their unreasonable absurdic melodic material as mr Brodsky suggested 30 years ago omg lol keep calm and love science it will protect you my dear your fortress will remain untouched unharmed virgin and you won't die your surely won't die but will sustain instead of going down the stairs into the cold universe of inhuman existence.

    ...a relapse. Damn God.
    Read that ;)
