    Oh my God…

[be ready to me screaming because this is a very biased post about the first book in a very very good series]

my first impression was literally the definition of the “one of the most boring and confusing reads this year” but it was before… it was all before we [me (reading) and Juliette (in plot)] met Aaron Warner.

but let’s get back to the beginning.

i’ve never been this much influenced by tiktok in my life as I was when I bought these books.

because of spoilers i already had quite high expectations, and intuitively felt like this story has to be mine = it just simply HAD to be real, i needed it so much!!

and what was my disappointment when i’ve read the first book. wow. it didn’t respond to nothing in me and i almost felt like a clown. like what could you expect from that social media? really??

anyways, i kept going and started the second book that changed everything. it is now one of the best reads in my life, but i’ll talk more later.

so for now, my opinion on the first book is that it needed to be there for the plot. for readers to understand where they were brought into and a slight preparation for what’s going to happen next.

so yeah, no real opinion, just advice for the ones who’s going to read it: wait for it, trust me. it will soon hit you that much, you won’t be ready.

and ofc i’m also reading novellas. the first one is “Destroy Me” from Warners POV. omg…

should like i even comment? this man is so “i am your literal dream, love. once you’ve met me you’ll never find a boyfriend irl because of your unreal high expectations”. [he always calls her LOVE]!!!

i should say that Warner is almost on the same level as Wayland(The Mortal Instruments) now for me.

these two dead looking blonde chicks are everything, they stole my heart and left me screaming in my pillow at 4 am alone…

and i also loved the world we’re into here. it’s a dystopian fantasy with a romantic subplot. and currently i’m in such a mood to read only stuff like this, that is surprising even to me. n also it suits well with autumn/winter aesthetics so i guess that may be the reason why.

anyways, more soon, but i alr highly recommend this to everyone!
