A lot of historical, archeological, antropological and economical anecdotes, data and references revolving around main idea: prosperity is growing and has been growing since first homo sapience.
And the main reason behind it — unique human ability to exchange goods and specialize (division of labor). Thus constantly raising the productivity and quality of living for the group as a whole.
