  I was really excited when I started to read the book - I bought it during my first trip to London, and my memories of places described in the book were still fresh. Non-stop action, city full of urban legends and mysteries, complex structure of occult relationship made me tremble with excitement with every flip of the page.

  But then something happened. Somehow, the reasoning behind characters' actions disappeared with the major plot twist in the second half of the book. I even thought maybe I missed something, and went back to re-read couple of pages to check, but no. Either my edition of the book lacks a certain amount of pages that give some context on origins of characters' behaviour, or... this is the way it is. And somehow I do believe it is the later.
