The first time when I actually liked TV series more than the original book

The story of a teenage girl who committed a suicide and what events led up to that. The story about the Baker's dozen.
A very easy-to-read first person story with occasional narration by the boy listening to her tory. This book will not bore you with lengthy descriptions and the plot is very easy to follow.
I really like the use of the cassettes in a story, as it creates certain atmosphere in the book and brings something long-forgotten and not so typical in the modern world back to life.
Many things from the book are based on the author's real-life experience, such as classes, where kids were told about the signs to look for in a person who wants to end their life, or the classmate who left a note saying that they wanted to commit a suicide.
