RamingoWS20 мая 2018I refused to blame Erik. Panic was a natural reaction; it could make you stupid, selfish. I`d seen it often enough. It was a rare man who had the natural proclivity to do the right thing when the wrong one might save him a share in the punishment or blame. Erik had been young. In his place and that age, I might well have done the same. This was a lie -- I knew even as I thought it -- but it was a lie that gave me some comfort.
