Matt Dinniman is very good at doing the "same same but different" stuff with this series of books. The characters and the plot change, grow, and develop, but the core stuff that got me hooked is always there.
I vibed a bit more with the setting of the previous book (I guess I have more of a thing for trains that I used to admit), but this floor is also quite fun, with great potential for whacky shenanigans - and, as I've grown to expect, a finale of epic proportions.
There is more of "the bigger plot" aka "what's going on outside the dungeon" seeping in, and I'm intrigued.
No idea what I'll be doing when I've read all the available books, because this is my life now, lol.
