That sort of love didn’t just die. He was right. This bridge between them was like the forever flame, relentless and unyielding.

“I know you’ve made your choice,” Oro said. “Don’t change it for me. But you are my only choice. Forever.”

The way he was looking at her . . . it made her remember when he said, I wish you could see yourself the way I do. You would never doubt yourself again.
