
This book is deliciously creepy.
The antennas, the state they are in, and their abilities are creepy.
The seemingly normal people experimenting on them and excusing it because it is "for the greater good" are even creepier. (Also, it is not shown in the book but I doubt the goverment would use a power like that purely and exclusively for good...)
I like that the supernatural element is fairly minimal , making the book very raw, very human, and very scary.
