This was really fun!
It is a great mix of satire and horror, exploration of one person’s queer identity and queer representation in media, one author’s self-expression through their work and the ruthless corporate media machine.
I think the horror element was quite creative, and I really enjoyed how at first it’s somewhat ambiguous - are those stalkers? actors hired by the corporation for intimidation purposes? is it all supernatural? - and then it turns out to be something else entirely.
I’m not very good at positive reviews so I’ll leave it at that.
Overall, a fun read that is more layered than it initially seems.
