“Do you know number twenty-seven?” I look up at the agent.
“Pardon?”
He nods toward the hat on my head, the one I’m currently rolling my fingers against without even realizing it.
“He has a cap just like that. Just as gross-looking too. He’s sort of famous for wearing it all the time, no matter how badly he needs to throw it out. Do you know him?”

“Yes, Seattle is my final destination.”
“Hey, whoa! Don’t say that!” His dark brows shoot up.
“Say what?”
“You know…FD.”
“I’m not following.”
