Bastille vs. the Evil Librarians

Here’s the thing about responsibility: no one who is fit to have it really wants it. When you’re responsible for other people, you risk letting them down. You risk messing everything up. When your only responsibility every day is to get yourself out of bed and make sure you don’t die before you go to sleep again at night, there’s nothing to feel guilty about. Still alive? Done and done.

(Though it’s somewhat humiliating if you’re not. I mean really, what happened? You had one job.)
