the reader of the book was the author herself and i think that help a lot as she was able to highlight exactly what she meant to be the most important thing in the book or the chapter.
As for the content - the chapters were well organized and very well interconnected. And I felt like I was told the important bits that are needed to understand the next bit of info - not just random data from her studies. I liked that a lot. And I liked that there were practical examples - but just enough - not to much not too little.
And I do think that I would prefer to see the bonus PDF that the author mentioned quite a few times - but it wasn't in Storytell. T Hat the only thing I didn't liked. Cause even though the option of reading (listening to) the book in chapters - not the whole book was a good strategic - I still missed some things as numbers are easier for me to gets in graphs and spreadsheets that by ear. SO I think I will reread or relisten the book in order to memorise some things or write them down. But even the things I memorise without making myself to - that's already helful.
I really do recommend this book to everyone. Cause we all live lives based and built on habits. And if can't change them quickly - at least after reading this books we can identify them and think how we can build on top of them better or healthier habits or see ways to cut them and let us loose.
And I really liked the way the author debunks the myth of pulling yourself by bootstraps and power of sheer determination. It didn't for me work so many times. And I do understand that it's still my own fault for not building right habits.
It still doesn't give me an excuse to be not efficient or not healthy or lazy. But now I kind have a better idea of how to get a good habit into my lifestyle.
After all - The most important is keep trying. It should kick in later or a bit later.
