Sacred Hunger

He could not imagine any government, of whatever complexion, exposing the nation to foreign competition. One country could only grow rich at the expense of another - it was an axiom and an article of faith with him.

Money is sacred, as everyone knows. So then must be the hunger for it and the means we use to obtain it.
