I want a family...
Everyone needs a family. Everyone needs a Mom and a Dad. Everyone wants to be loved by someone, it’s necessary, especially, by his own family. Unfortunately, it’s possible to feel alone even at home, even with your parents and siblings. We just don’t feel their support and their presence in our hearts. We argue and fight, think that it would be better to escape than stay here in incomprehension and non-recognition. But in one day it can be too late… And I’m not saying that every family is perfect and we have to like and love everyone and always. Some people make us feel pain and hate. Don’t judge too hard!
Would you like to hear about a family with 3 boys and one foster girl?
“One for the Murphys” book is beautiful and warm. This story will completely fill the empty space in your heart. Carley Connors is a 12 years old girl, who’s Mom and a stepfather did the horrible thing to her. (As Carley thinks, but maybe, she will remember something else?). Carley is a foster child and she hates her new family... because it’s too nice for her. She hates every cute and kind thing, she hates her “brothers”, especially Daniel. But a few weeks later, she started feeling uncertainty, probably, it isn’t weak to cry, it isn’t bad to be loved?! And maybe your real family is not the family that gave you life but the family that sincerely loves you...
This is the story of “unconditional love and loving, no matter what”. It will let the children know that they have to be loved by their parents no matter what happened before, they deserve being happy! It proves the possibility of kindship in the soul and heart, and not in the blood. It will help people to find contact with adopted children and their traumas and fears, it will teach them loving. Maybe, there were many words like “jerk”, “idiot”, “dork”, but it doesn’t affect. It’s about kindness and patience.
Sometimes (at the very beginning), Carley’s behavior irritates me but then I liked her. She is so brave, strong, and smart; she spells many words backward and finds a new meaning. Also, don’t forget about basketball and a stuffed giraffe.
I hope, that after reading this book, children that aren’t loved, that suffered too much and don’t have a real family, will understand that they matter and deserve happiness..!
