It’s a special kind of hell when people you love and trust tell you that your family, your entire world, is fake.
A delusion.
A dream.

One could argue that there is never a downside to loving another with all that you are. Love is astonishing. It is precious, sacred. One is privileged to experience it. I would disagree. There is one disadvantage to such a love. The ramifications of losing that love are shattering. It’s an unfathomable anguish that will never cease. Torture.

More tomorrows. More forevers

Regardless, I’m jumping into this ocean of emotions that has my heart beating wildly for the first time in my life, and I pray that Aiden’s ready for a very long swim.
