This is not strictly a review more of a note on the impact this short story had on me. This impact was significant enough for me to want to share it with other people in writing form.

As a writer, Stephen King exemplifies the saying "A writer always writes about him or herself". King certainly writes about what he knows and never about what he does not know. One well-known example is him going back to the state of Maine in his works one way or the other. Never having been to the United States, I feel a certain familiarity to the state of Maine of 1940s-1970s as if I had lived there just long enough to develop a light nostalgia for the place. Нет, а, что интересно написано. Мальчику, наверное не по себе. Как же так прикоснётся рукой или ещё что - то сразу кто - то обречён на смерть. Это что - то из области фантастики. А почему живое существо подразумевают людей. А может это животное кто знает. Животное де может покусать человека. У человека бывает аллергия на животное. Здесь я не совсем соглашусь с тем, что проклятие надо посылать только живому существу это человеку . Нет здесь может быть и животное. Может мальчик находился в лесу, а тут куда ни глянь повсюду какие - то животные. Возможно и медведи, и змеи, и науки. Так, что опираться только на людей и проклятие посылат. ь

Два рассказа в заголовки (среди довольно странных и вызывающих), что действительно понравились и заставили прочесть себя не отрываясь. Плот, так же был не плох, как и повесть о пишущей машинке с человеком не пожимающим рук. Было неожиданно встретить героев из сборника, о четырёх сезонах. В остальном же, много посредственных и не понятно к чему написанных рассказов основанных на маньяках с оружием. Возможно сборник к тому и называется, что у всех же есть свои скелеты. Но большинство рассказов к сожалению, мало чем запоминаются и не особо что-то теряется при их отсутствии.

Будучи крайне далекой от всего того, что связано с Хеллоуином, тем не менее, в октябре я затронула (хорошо так затронула) тему страшилок с Кингом. Нет бы взять одну историю, но большую, так нет же, я взяла именно сборник коротких, но впечатляющих рассказов (раз 10 впечатлилась точно).

В сборнике представлены 22 отдельных рассказа, вот список тех, которые мне приглянулись больше всего: 1) Туман (не мне одной понравилось, раз по этому рассказу фильмы и сериалы снимают) 2) Долгий Джонт (очень захватывающее жизнеописание путешествий в будущем) 3) Свадебный джаз (не то, чтобы страшилка, даже забавная история о музыкантах и мафии) 4) Тот, кто хочет выжить (советую не читать, если вы хотите кушать) 5) Баллада о гибкой пуле (необычное для Кинга повествование о писателях и их"проблемах")
