Perhaps I am wrong...
As a present I've got this book from the friend.
Have never read anything by Feist.
In my case it is a disastrous beginning.
Even wiki did not help me to manage what had happened in a dozen books before.
After about 100 pages I gave up.
It was my first and last experience with this author .166
