The Romans

This is the first book I've read in English. It's simple but interesting. There are many facts about the Romans and different aspects of their life: government, slavery, wars, language, buildings, arenas and so on. This book shows the way of their thinking.

This was the Roman way. Time after time they put their city before their own lives - and they changed the world.
