    How to love a man and to write a novel of love

    It’s a genius description of all the stages that a deeply involved in passion woman goes through.
    Sometimes it’s extremely difficult to read it, as if you are capable of feeling the emotions of the author, you will also feel what she feels. It’s compassion and sharp pain after the loss of relationship.
    To tell it short - the man left her, and it was also her fault, but no one to blame, and impossible to answer clearly and evidently why it happened.
    She tries to realize what it was, and the longer she lives the clearer she understands that it was the most important part of her life.
    The story isn’t a direct line as it’s traditionally being written about love. It’s more like a flow of ideas that come to a mind obsessed by love, some small episodes, remnants of memories, smells and sounds of voices.
    There’s nothing more open and sincere, my heart was broken when I have been reading it, and still I felt alive and in love.

    Then, although it was still the end of the story, I put it at the beginning of the novel, as if I needed to tell the end first in order to go on and tell the rest. It would have been simpler to begin at the beginning, but the beginning didn’t mean much without what came after, and what came after didn’t mean much without the end.

    I suddenly felt I might be what he thought I was. There had been other times when I felt nameless and faceless, walking through city streets at night or in the rain when no one knew where I was, and now this feeling had unexpectedly been confirmed by the man standing across the counter from me.

    I was turning him into something less than another human being, as though he were as passive as anything else I wanted, any other object that I wanted to consume—food, drink, or a book.
