Я уже прочитал всю серию Плоский Мир на русском, и теперь решил прочесть на английском и заодно подтянуть его.
Например, я запомнил слова:
- bugger off - пидарас
- vomit - блевотина
- quaffing - бухать
- carousing - кутить, пировать
- torture - пытать
Конечно, книга великолепна и Терри Пратчетт - образец английского юмора и плодотворности, и читать его - сплошное удовольствие.356
