I wonder why grown ups are fond of Harry Potter books? It's not like you are eager for some fairy tale staff full of princesses and knights and evil witches. Potter's world is something more than just magics and black-or-white-choose-side bulk. It's a real philosophy.
Every character and every act is meaningful. In one book it is just a pet rat, in the other it is an animag who betrayed his friends and became a servant of the main villain-in-chief.
When reading HP saga it is a secret for me how Rowling knitted all these acts and episodes and turned the happenings brushed over in the previous book into main stream of the new one and something really important for the whole idea.
Need to be a real talent to grow the book level and its mysteries and drama together with the growing heroes.
The third year thirteens became older and smarter. Their doings and consequences are more significant. The evil becomes more real, and childish fears and resentments take a back seat more and more often. That is how people are growing up and that is how books are maturing.
I do love HP and do plan to read it over and over and over again.
This is my third book read for the XX-th time definitely not the last.
