  It's a fairly decent easy read with some nice moments, but overall it felt very meh for me.

  For a feel-good, positive book, there are too many fatal accidents, suicidedes, abandoned children, too much cheating, death, and heartbreak.

  For a book dealing with serious topics, it doesn't go deep enough into any of them - and there's too much sweet and cutsey stuff.

  For a book about books... I don't know. I guess I don't enjoy reading about other people talking about books, especially if there's nothing else grabbing in the story for me and I haven't read most of the books.

  I actually liked the idea of each chapter having the title of a story the MC wanted his daughter to read and some comments by him - but at the same time I've only read a couple of those since I don't really like short stories and I couldn't see their relevance.
