The final book of the series is definitely the strongest one. It's action-packed and I couldn't put it down I wanted so much to know what's going to happen asap.

It started off with my not so favorite thing as separation of main characters but here it was done tastefully and didn't drag on forever.

Aefe's part at times was tiresome for me as opposed to book 2. I was more frustrated with her, she behaved as a petulant child sometimes and was so single-minded that at times I wanted someone to slap her to come to her senses. But her and Caduan's love story still kept me in a grip. It is heartbreaking. Falling in love two times and never get the chance to live it is tragic.

Max and Tisaanah's love is inspiring. Their wedding left me weeping both from happiness and sadness that the moment was so short-lived. Their promises to each other were so beautiful, I felt their love to my core.

Sammerin... such a stoic presence for both Max and Tisaanah. You could not wish for a better friend.

    "Thank you, Sammerin."
I was thanking him, as always, for so much more than the congratulations. I owed my life to him. I owed a life worth living to him even more.

It's worth reading this series if only because of this book. The range of emotions it has given me is truly remarkable.
