I do not know if it is really possible to rate this book without rating Matthew, and I did not like him. Especially before he met his wife. He was quite an a***ole, IMO. Which I could accept if he had realised that. But he treated it as a natural state of being and called it being a free spirit or smth. I am not an expert but for me, it sounded like a case of toxic masculinity (I am not 100% sure what it is, it is a very popular term nowadays, and from what I understand of it, it sounds like the case) and egoism. Well, it is not like anyone, including MM, cares what I think about him, so never mind. He is still a great actor though.
