Interesting book about the suffering and everything which goes through the mind of a deadly sick person. The discussion of what to leave behind and how you only do harm when trying to leave something behind you is a completely new idea of looking at the impact you have on the world. However, it is very dofficult to say if the impact you have will be negative or positive if it’s something not brightly obvious. I like Gus, his views and simplicity, openness. The crazy obsession with the plot of the unfinished book is crazy, ngl the trip to amsterdam was very symbolic. But I didn’t catch the main emotions, their love. I didnt feel it and think it was not enough. It was restrained and not real. But the parents of these kids are heroes, standing applause4550
