  my favorite book this year so far

  I LOVED IT! Yes, its obviously a fanfiction, but is it bad because of it? NO. It's a typical fanfiction, reader can predict literally every plot twist of this book, but it's just so well-written.

  I really liked all those jokes and academia/phd references, since I know a lot about this stuff. And the characters. You can see real people while reading this book. Also, I relate to Olive so much. If I were a book character I would definitely be Olive. And let's talk about Adam. Everyone, meet MY NEW FAVORITE BOOK BOYFRIEND. He's perfect. (I don't make the rules, sorry.)

  I'm definitely adding this book to the list of my favorites and I'm really looking forward to buy my paperback copy of it.

  The only flaw in this book (for me) are those two chapters of sex scenes. I'm sorry, maybe it's because I'm ace, but I didn't like those scenes at all (I even panicked a little bit). Like I understand what was the meaning behind them (Olive trusts Adam, and Adam has feelings to her as well, yeah), but why would you write those scenes THAT long and detailed? I don't get that, sorry, but overall this book is great and I think it's my favorite this year so far.

  I knew that I would love this book, and I really enjoyed every second of reading it, can't wait to read Ali's next books!
