(I have 2 copies of this book. One is from America, so it's in English and one is written in Russian. I couldn't choose both of them in my review due to the app)
"If I’m going to die, I’d like to actually live first. And then I’ll die".Everyone can feel it differently. For someone, this is like hanging around someone’s neck or naming everything diminutive-affectionate words. For another person, this is endless dating and surprises. Personally, I enter into a state in which I wanted to escape and not deal with these people.
As for me, love is something that no one else can see. The complete opposite of the world. Love is not 1000 hearts or kisses in social networks. It's not "I love you" after every sentence. Love is building a huge maze, at the end of which you will finally reach it, but the main thing - is to see the backgrounds!
I see the love there, where most of the ordinary people, which are a mass, stupidly-reaching for a virtual leader, can’t see it. (I’m sorry for my radical words)
Love is the smallest touch; love is the smallest sight; the smallest talk and thought. It is attitude, emotions, actions, and adventures, that happens after falling in love. Why am I talking about this now?!
I have read an amazing, wonderful, and awesome book. This book is written in a very beautiful language, with beautiful and deep descriptions. I immediately liked the style, that helped me to plunge into this atmosphere, to feel and hear every word and phrase inside their minds. It will definitely make you shivering and sobbing. I felt softness and warmth that was surrounding me and leading till the very end. I lived in this book..! (Also, I like reading from the 1st point of view because I start feeling EVERYTHING that happens to the characters)
So, this is “Five Feet Apart”.I strongly advise everyone to read it. Meet Will Newman and Stella Grant. Two souls, two personalities that weren’t able to simply touch each other, to kiss each other’s lips and breathe the same air. I’ve never met or heard about someone that strong and brave, who is fighting for life, for being happy and loved no matter what. I was sinking in my tears...
That’s why Rachael Lippincott became my favorite author!A little digging in the book.
I don’t want to spoil you, but, promise me, that when you will read or watch (“FFA” film is my favorite now. I’ve seen it 4 times and every time I was sobbing with a headache) you will think about what I’m going to tell you now. The pool scene and the scene with the lights and festoons - are priceless, so smart, and powerful. This book is not for everyone, it has a very very deep meaning. Moreover, now I have a huge list of quotes!
Why were they standing practically naked and staring at each other? Why did he ask her to close her eyes?...I can’t explain what am I feeling now when I recall it. You have to read and watch it! Especially, if you want to see real love...
"You make me want a life I can't have".(12 and up; POV. Young Adult)
