Holy shit this guy is fierce,” the Reaper said, flipping a few pages back in his large canvased book. “Reaper,” Sonny said, trying to get his attention. “‘It would be better if there were nothing,’” the Reaper continued on, ignoring Sonny’s plea for attention. “‘Since there is more pain than pleasure on earth, every satisfaction is only transitory, creating new desires and new distresses, and the agony of the devoured animal is always far greater than the pleasure of the devourer.’ Wow!” The Reaper tossed the book on the bed. “Here, you can have it, I stole it from Schopenhauer’s shelf when he died.”
