mobyrichard2 августа 2012The bee is part of folklore all around the world, fairy tales and myths and nursery rhymes and old wives' tales. One says that all bees are born from the body of a bull. Another says that the noise of iron and steel clashing together will make agitated bees settle back into their hive; this is called "tanging the swarm." another says that a bee's sting directly on the lips is what first brought poetry into the world of humans. The pain she inflicts, says this myth, is equal to the worth of the wisdom she inspires. This is called "kissing the bee."
