Make music sweet;
Strings by the river where
The willows meet.There's music along the river
For Love wanders there,
Pale flowers on his mantle,

Upon an instrument.Для автора "Улисса" эта лирика как-то неожиданно проста, лирична и музыкальна.
Это одно из первых творений юного Джойса. Понравилось не все в сборнике, но некоторые стихи удивительно хороши.
